NAZARETH, Pa. - Many of country music's greatest hits have been made on Martin Guitars.

A new display at the Nazareth-based company's museum pays tribute to industry greats.

The exhibit was created to coincide with a documentary by filmmaker Ken Burns about the origins of country music.

Many of the featured musicians favored Martin instruments.

Curator Jason Ahner says many of the guitars on display were taken from the Martin archives but they didn't want to just showcase old country. Ahner said new country stars are carrying on the legacy.

"We wanted to illustrate the close relationship between the development and Martin Guitar, really if you look at the development of country music Martin Guitar has been there since the beginning,” he said.

If you want to take a walk through country music history, the display will be up in the Martin museum through the end of the year.
