The Lehigh Valley IronPigs are getting ready to launch a new initiative. It involves local schools and businesses.

The IronPigs have unveiled their new program, FeRROUS Fridays, as a way of getting involved within the community. The IronPigs' mascot will begin to visit local businesses and schools to greet students or workers on their way inside.

WFMZ's Ali Reid was live at Coca-Cola Park with all the new information.
