ALLENTOWN, Pa. - The Lehigh Valley IronPigs are back for a long-awaited season at Coca-Cola Park, as they welcome back fans to the stands.

It'll be the first time since August 25, 2019 that fans have been allowed in the park for an IronPigs game, making opening day extra special.

Seating is limited with about 7,000 less fans being granted access to the park.

The Pigs take on the Rochester Red Wings Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m., and players and workers are ready to bring back the action.

IronPigs staff say fans will get the special treatment during opening day. 3,000 of them will receive a black and gold cap. Essential workers will also be recognized.

Masks must be worn, social distancing guidelines will be followed with pod seating, and the park will be cashless under MLB's ruling.

WFMZ's Ali Reid was at Coca-Cola Park Tuesday morning.
