Immigration attorneys in the Lehigh Valley said they have seen a big increase in inquiries from potential clients since President Donald Trump took office.
"I call it the Trump craze, people are terrified," said Raymond Lahoud an immigration attorney with Baurkot & Baurkot in Easton.
Lahoud said his office has fielded hundreds of calls since Inauguration Day and President Trump's promise to enforce immigration laws.
"These laws have always been in place…it's just now they're being enforced," Lahoud said.
Lahoud said he counsels both documented and undocumented immigrants living in the Lehigh Valley about their rights.
He said many of them fear Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids.
"The first thing they ask is if somebody is going to come kicking in my door?" Lahoud said.
Lahoud said he expects to see more business not less over the coming months.
