The Lehigh Valley Health Network is getting more financial aid to help battle the COVID-19 crisis.

The hospital is one of several in the state to receive federal grant money as part of the Regional Response Health Collaboration Program.

$24 million will be divided between LVHN and the Geisinger Clinic, which is north of Harrisburg.

The money will go towards readiness and response planning in nursing homes, including expanding testing to asymptomatic patients and staff.
