TREXLERTOWN, Pa. - A man who served for 60 years in a fire department in Upper Macungie Township, Lehigh County, has died.

Forrest Hausman was an active member with the Good Will Fire Company No. 1 of Trexlertown from 1957 to 2017, the fire company said in a news release.

Hausman served the department in numerous roles over the years, including as fire chief. Hausman was the Parade Grand Marshal of the company's 100th anniversary parade.

A viewing will be held Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Schmoyer Funeral Home at 8926 Brookdale Road in Breinigsville.

A second viewing will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. After the services there will be a Firemen's Procession to the Good Will Fire Company No. 1 at 7723 Hamilton Boulevard, Trexlertown, where a Firemen’s Last Call service will take place.
