BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Downtown Bethlehem is getting ready to soon welcome a new grocery store.
Land has been cleared at a property in the 200 block of East Broad Street. That paves the way for construction to begin on a new community-owned grocery store.
The store is being made possible thanks to a nearly $3-million grant awarded to the city of Bethlehem.
It's expected to open sometime late next year.
