EASTON, Pa. - A local brew pub owner in Easton has created a niche with his innovative menu items. Two Rivers Brewing is serving up dishes like hog wings, duck fat fries, and the popular peanut butter bacon cheese burger.

Troy Reynard is the former owner of the Cosmic Cup on College Hill in Easton. He has moved from College Hill to downtown, trading in java for hops at Two Rivers Brewing Company. He says after traveling around with his other owners this was the right choice.

"We were sick of going to places that had either good food and bad beer, or good beer and bad food. We wanted to put that all together," Reynard said.

He has put it all together with the help of a great staff including general manager and executive chef Jeremy Bialker. Just start with a popular appetizer, the bacon wrapped jalapenos served on a bed of fried brussels sprouts with onion jam.

But it's the signature dish of Two Rivers that has some people questioning the menu: the Peanut Butter Bacon Cheddar Burger.

"They were like there's no way that could be good, but it's more than just putting peanut butter and bacon on a burger," said Jeremy Bialker, general manager and executive chef of Two Rivers Brewing Co.

And if a burger is not your thing, the fall menu has something for everyone, like the Funky Vegan Napa Cabbage and Kimchi Stew.
