UPPER SAUCON TWP., Pa. - Five years ago, Pennsylvania revamped the way it distributes money for special education.

Now lawmakers are trying to find out if the blueprint is working.

Local school administrators offered their opinions during a meeting Tuesday at Southern Lehigh High School in Upper Saucon Township.

It was the fourth meeting in a statewide tour.

Republican Pennsylvania Sen. Pat Browne, of Lehigh County, is a co-chair of the commission conducting the tour.
