ALLENTOWN, Pa. - A special guest with some surprises up his sleeve brought joy to sick children Thursday. They call 'em Tricky. The trick up his sleeve Thursday was a heartwarming one.

Pocono Raceway's "Tricky" and staff delivered cars and teddy bears to children at Lehigh Valley Reilly Children's Hospital. It's part of the NASCAR Foundation's Speedy Bear Brigade.

"A program that incorporates about 30 hospitals across the country and gives out about 1,000 bears," said Ricky Durst with Pocono Raceway.

7-year-old Makayla Melcher been in and out of the hospital since Black Friday. She brought a couple of her own buddies with her, but was happy to add to the crew.

7 year old Connie Reid looked festive, but truth be told, she's felt better. She hit her head after a fall. A small gesture made a big impact.

Tricky made Thursday a good day for many kids at the hospital, and the great thing about giving is that even the giver gets something.

"It's just a special time for us," Durst said.
