WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. - Some martial arts students are giving back to their community.

In April a student at Action Karate in Whitehall Township, Lehigh County held a karate-thon to raise money to buy pet oxygen masks for local fire departments.

That student, Keeghan Nester, presented the masks he bought from the fundraiser to fire departments Friday.

The project was one of five community service projects the students needed to earn their junior Black Belt.
