4 taken to hospital after bus crash


Three students and a bus driver were taken to a hospital after a crash at 4th and Broadhead streets Thursday afternoon.

According to Bethlehem Police, the bus hit a tree. The driver appeared to be experiencing a medical emergency and was transported to St. Luke's University Hospital. The driver's condition is unknown.

According to Bethlehem Area School District superintendent Dr. Joseph Roy, between 23 and 25 high school students were coming back from VoTech when the crash occurred. One student bumped their head and two complained of knee pain.

They were taken to the hospital along with the driver.
