PALMER TWP., Pa. - A Halloween festival in the Lehigh Valley provided a safe environment for young people with special needs to trick-or-treat.

The 6th annual BooFest was held Saturday at the Palmer Park Mall in Northampton County.

The free event is organized by the Lehigh Valley Business Group.

There's trick-or-treating along with games, crafts, pumpkin painting and face painting.

Organizers say it's a great opportunity for people with special needs who are past the traditional trick-or-treating age to get dressed up.
