U. MACUNGIE TWP., Pa.| Township police are investigating a pair of break-ins that occurred late last week.
A homeowner reported to police that someone broke into their home in the 6900 block of Ruppsville Road sometime between 6 a.m. and 3:50 p.m. Nov. 15. The unknown intruder or intruders forced their way into the home through a locked side door, according to a news release.
The homeowner told police that items were removed from the house.
Township police said they were contacted on Nov. 16 about another burglary in the 5600 block of Memorial Road. The homeowner smashed a locked, glass door at the back of the house sometime between 9 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. No one was home at the time.
Items were removed from the home. Authorities did not indicate whether they believe the two break-ins were related.
