WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. - The Whitehall-Coplay School District notified parents Wednesday of a fresh broccoli recall due to potential listeria.

The district was informed of a potential food safety concern with fresh broccoli offered between October 1 and November 5, 2019. The broccoli was recalled due to potential Listeria Monocytogenes.

The following Listeria Monocytogenes symptoms may take 2-3 days after consumption:

• Fever

• Vomiting

• Headache (Severe)

• Diarrhea

• Myalgia (Muscle Aches)
