EMMAUS, Pa. - Edie Roeder is just one of those people you can't help but adore.

"On Friday I had an important birthday, I turned 99.  But you know, I don't a feel a day over 98!" Edie said. "I do my own cooking, cleaning."

She also paints.

"I love to paint. I spend a lot of time on my porch studio right now," she said.

She started painting in 1981 after retiring as an English teacher. She's stockpiled quite a collection.

Her artwork debuts Friday at Laura's Custom Framing and Fine Art In Emmaus. We got a sneak peak. There are nearly 50 pieces, each one as vibrant as the woman who painted them.
