Giant Food Stores and Martin's Food Markets have announced a voluntary recall of a cough medicine for children.

In a press release Saturday, customers were alerted to the voluntary recall of Care One children's cough medicine, due to incorrect dosage markings which could result in a potential overdose.

The following product is included in this recall: Care One Children's Mucus Relief Cough - Cherry Flavor, 4 oz., UPC 34152031837 with an expiration date of March 17.

Giant and Martin's say neither company has received reports of illness to date.

Customers who have purchased this product should discard any unused portions and bring their purchase receipt to Giant or Martin's for a full refund.
