HARRISBURG, Pa. - Gov. Tom Wolf amended his executive order protecting Pennsylvanians from eviction during the pandemic.
The new order specifies that the ban on evictions and foreclosures only applies to a lack of payment or because a tenant has overstayed a lease, his administration said Friday.
"My order will not affect proceedings for other issues, such as property damage or illegal activity," Wolf said in a news release.
The order suspends evictions and foreclosures until July 10 to help those facing economic challenges due to the pandemic.
