Hazleton Police arrested a wanted person in the early hours of Thanksgiving.
Police responded to the area of Third and Laurel Streets just before 6:30 a.m. for the report of a man screaming and yelling in the street.
Officers spoke with the man when they arrived on scene, identified as 25-year-old Michael Rapach, and took him into custody for public drunkenness. Police determined he was also a fugitive and wanted on three warrants for failure to appear.
Police say Rapach was allegedly heavily under the influence of methamphetamine as a search incident to arrest uncovered an uncapped syringe.
Rapach is facing charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, public drunkenness, and disorderly conduct. He will be transported to Luzerne County Prison once medically cleared.
