TUNKHANNOCK TWP., Pa. - Police are asking for the public's help to locate a man wanted for attempted homicide in Monroe County.
Police were dispatched at 11:31 p.m. Friday to a home in the 1600 block of Glacier Drive in Tunkhannock Township for a report of a stabbing.
Police said evidence at the scene showed Edward Sartoris, 58, stabbed his wife multiple times then fled the scene.
Police have issued a warrant for Sartoris on charges of attempted homicide, aggravated assault, prohibited offense weapon, terroristic threats, possession of an instrument of crime, simple assault and reckless endangerment.
Sartoris is believed to be driving a blue BMW 3 Series convertible with the Pa. license plate FXX-2979.
He stands about 6-foot-1 and weighs 230 pounds. He has family in the New York City area and is also employed there.
