ASHLAND, Pa. - The Schuylkill County Chamber of Commerce helped celebrate the ribbon cutting for Brigade Manufacturing North Tuesday.

The garment plant took over the former Gitman's Shirt Factory on Centre Street in Ashland.

It has been contracted by the government to make U.S. postal shirts.

Right now Brigade has about 50 employees, and is looking to get that number up to 300.
