Schuylkill County officials are considering zoning changes which could alter plans for a wide range of industries.

A citizens group is concerned the draft amendment for wind turbines doesn't consider height limits, spacing between turbines, or a notice requirement for landowners within 1,500 feet.

The changes also include new requirements for pipeline compressor stations, and medical marijuana dispensaries and growers.

Commission members said they would study the draft and plan to meet with the zoning and land use consultant on January 29.
