NORRISTOWN, Pa. - A driver who police say was involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash has been charged.
Nemias Perez-Severiano, 31, was charged with accidents involving death and related offenses. He is in the Montgomery County Correctional Center in lieu of $200,000 bail.
A preliminary hearing will be held on Nov. 22.
It happened just before 6:30 p.m. Sunday in the 600 block of Astor Street in Norristown.
Police say a red Ford Focus hit 67-year-old Samuel Jackson as he was getting out of his vehicle.The vehicle then kept driving, police said.
Jackson died at the hospital.
