St. Luke's Upper Bucks campus

QUAKERTOWN, Pa. - St. Luke's newest hospital in Bucks County will soon open its doors.

St. Luke's Upper Bucks Campus on 3000 St. Luke's Drive will open on Dec. 14, St. Luke's University Health Network said in a news release.

The $100 million campus will include an 80-bed hospital and an emergency room.The ER will include 16 bays, including 2 trauma bays, a specialty pediatric and bariatric room. 

Fifty new staff members were hired for the new hospital, and about 300 full and part-time employees from St. Luke's Quakertown campus will move to the Upper Bucks Campus.

After the Upper Bucks Campus opens, the St. Luke's Quakertown Campus emergency room will close. Medical/surgical beds, intensive care beds, and surgical services will move from St. Luke’s Quakertown Campus to the new Upper Bucks Campus. 

Renovations will begin at the St. Luke’s Quakertown Campus soon after the Upper Bucks Campus opens, according to the news release.
