Hackettstown police vehicle wanted hit and run

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. - Police in New Jersey are asking the public for help in locating the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash.

It happened Wednesday, Oct. 2 around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Route 46 and Liberty Street in Hackettstown, police said in a news release.

The white Honda Accord pictured in the image above was involved in the crash, then fled north on Liberty Street, police said.

Anyone with information about the vehicle, driver or the case is asked to call police at 908-852-3300, or send an anonymous tip by texting "TIP HACKPD" and your message to 888-777.
