LAMBERTVILLE, N.J. - A small town in Hunterdon County, New Jersey is filled with inspiring musicians, and the historical society has come up with a way to use their talents to help the community during the holiday season.

Lambertville, New Jersey is a small town on the banks of the Delaware River that's rich in history and the arts.

Laurie Vosburg is a local singer who has joined with other musicians in the town over the past eight years to put together Lambertville's very own Christmas CD to benefit the town's local historical society and help maintain its historical charm.

"It's the start of the Christmas holiday for me, especially when we can build something together like this that's so unique," Vosburg said.

The CD is sold at various shops downtown and on the Lambertville Historical Society website.  The project has grown each year. They started with just 11 acts the first year and there are 26 tracks on this year's CD with a blend of traditional and original songs.

The musicians on the CD also hold concerts at different venues throughout the town to bring even more holiday cheer.
