An insurance company is no longer threatening to terminate the coverage of a New Jersey manufacturer.

Warren County business owner James Messina told us his insurance company, Selective, threatened to drop him because he switched to making sanitizer during the pandemic.

Messina showed us emails from his insurance agent which assured him there were no restrictions on his policy limiting coverage to certain products. Then last month, he got a letter from his insurance company saying they were going to terminate his corporate liability policy due to concerns about lawsuits.

Messina says as a result of the inquiry by 69 News his insurance company reversed its decision and will not cancel his policy.
