Motorcyclist suspected to be seriously hurt in hit-and-run

SUV's driver to face charges, police say

WINDSOR TWP., Pa. - A Reading man is expected to be charged with hit-and-run violations after an crash involving a motorcycle.

The crash happened just before 5 p.m.on Saturday at Route 143 and Balthaser Road in Windsor Township, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police.

Jason Warunek, 40, was driving his SUV on Blathaser Road when he ran a stop sign and hit a motorcycle, police said.

The motorcyclist, Keith Koble, 57, was thrown off the bike and landed on the road, police said.

Warunek took off, but police said they located him shortly after the crash.

Koble was taken to the hospital for treatment of suspected serious injuries. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, police said.
