ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Allentown announced Monday it is providing funds to help a local organization develop eight twin homes.

Allentown will provide $725,000 of U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development funds to assist Habitat for Humanity of the Lehigh Valley in developing eight single-family attached twin homes on a 1.07-acre lot at 640 Tacoma Street.

The city has performed an environmental assessment following HUD environmental regulations and made a finding of no significant impact to the environment, the mayor's office said.
