Downtown Allentown Market set to open Sept. 19

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - A new food market in downtown Allentown is just days away from opening.

The Downtown Allentown Market is set to open on the ArtsWalk on Thursday, September 19, according to a post on Instagram.

It will feature nine merchants: Shinsen, Zahra, Batch Microcreamery, Little Miss Korea, Doughnut Love, Licensed 2 Grill @ The Market, Tavola, Boardroom Spirits and Fresh Kitchen by Robert Irvine.

The market takes the place of the 12,000 square-foot space formerly occupied by clothing stores Sage and Aquarius, and will offer extensive indoor seating.

Radish Republic grocery store is set to open across from the market in October.

City Center partnered with Groundswell Design Group to develop the space.
