New arson charges filed against 2 accused of setting barn fires

Now also accused of setting fire to cars

NORTHAMPTON BOROUGH, Pa. - New arson charges have been filed against a former firefighter and a woman accused of setting multiple barn fires in the Lehigh Valley.

In a court appearance Wednesday, 20-year-old Justin Emmons and 24-year-old Samantha Keeney, both of Northampton, have now been accused of burning two cars in Northampton Borough.

Police say the pair burned a Dodge Dart last month at a home on East 10th Street.

Then six days later, a pickup truck at that same address was also burned.

That was also the same day a barn on Cherryville Road was set on fire.

Emmons and Keeney remain in jail on bail.
