Sears closing appliance and hardware store in Northampton County

LOWER NAZARETH TWP., Pa. - Sears is shutting down one of its last two remaining stores in the Lehigh Valley.

The Sears Appliance and Hardware Store in Northampton County is now in the process of liquidating.

An employee says the Lower Nazareth Township store is set to close June 21. That means the Sears' Whitehall Mall location will be its last remaining store in the area.

Sears Holdings is trying stay afloat after filing for bankruptcy last year.
