Bethlehem taekwondo academy to compete in national tournament

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - A Lehigh Valley based taekwondo academy will be competing in the national championships this weekend. Four students from Kim's Black Belt Academy in Bethlehem will be representing Pennsylvania in the tournament.

This year's championships will take place from June 28 - July 4 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The schedule of events for each day features seminars and sparring for various age groups.

Son Yong Kim, the owner and instructor for Black Belt Academy is very familiar with this national stage. In his years in the sport he has coached several competitors to national championships.
