BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Freedom girls' soccer team qualified for the District 11-4A playoffs as the seventh seed a few weeks ago. The Patriots battled and won the district title. They used that as a springboard all the way into the PIAA quarterfinals.

The Patriots topped Council Rock South 3-1 on Tuesday night in their first state playoff game. Now the team will face Conestoga, the third seed out of District 1.

The game is set for 1 p.m. at Spring-Ford High School on Saturday.
